Linking to DUPR and Submitting Games

Connect your DUPR account to PB Vision and submit a recorded game to get an initial AI-assisted DUPR rating, no tournament required.

PB Vision and DUPR have partnered to give players a faster path to a real DUPR rating. If you don't yet have a DUPR rating, you can record one match, get analyzed by PB Vision, and submit your result to DUPR to receive an initial AI-assisted DUPR rating, all from a single game video.

🎯 Who this is for

Phase 1 of the integration is built for new and unrated DUPR players:

  • Players without a DUPR rating ("NR" / Not Rated): you can use a single PB Vision game to receive your first DUPR rating. It will appear on your DUPR profile as an AI-assisted rating.

  • Players who already have a DUPR rating: you can still link your account and submit games. Your submission is captured by DUPR as informational data, but it will not change your existing DUPR rating today. Match results from sanctioned and league play remain the source of record for already-rated players.

🔗 Step 1: Link your PB Vision and DUPR accounts

You only need to do this once.

  1. Go to your PB Vision account settings.

  2. Find the DUPR section and click Connect to DUPR.

  3. You'll be sent through DUPR's secure sign-in (OAuth) to authorize the connection.

  4. Once linked, your DUPR profile shows up on your PB Vision settings page.

Switching to a different DUPR account? Open your PB Vision settings page, disconnect the existing DUPR connection, then connect the DUPR account you want to use.

🎥 Step 2: Record and process a game in PB Vision

If you've never used PB Vision before:

  1. Create a free PB Vision account at pb.vision/create-account. Your first video (up to 25 minutes) is free.

  2. Record a doubles match following the framing and recording guidelines: full court visible with all four corners, landscape mode, camera at least 5 feet off the ground, stable mount.

  3. Upload the video and wait for processing (most videos finish in about 30 minutes).

  4. Tag yourself in the game so the rating is attached to your profile.

If you already use PB Vision, just open any processed doubles game where you're tagged.

📤 Step 3: Submit your game to DUPR

  1. Open the processed game in PB Vision.

  2. Go to the Overview tab.

  3. Click Submit to DUPR. PB Vision sends your match score and your AI-generated PB Vision rating to your linked DUPR account.

  4. You'll see a success confirmation when the submission is accepted.

That's it. If you didn't have a DUPR rating before, your initial AI-assisted DUPR rating will be visible on your DUPR profile shortly after.

👥 Each player submits their own game

Submitting a game from PB Vision only sends data to your linked DUPR account. It does not update DUPR profiles for the other players in the video. If your partner or opponents also want a DUPR rating from the same match, each of them needs to:

  1. Have the game tagged to them in PB Vision.

  2. Link their own DUPR account in PB Vision settings.

  3. Submit the game from their own PB Vision Overview tab.

This keeps every player in control of what gets sent to their own DUPR profile.

🧠 What if I already have a DUPR rating?

Phase 1 of the integration is focused on initial ratings for unrated players. If you already have a DUPR rating, submitting a PB Vision game will not change your existing DUPR number. DUPR captures the submission as informational data, and the underlying PB Vision analysis is still fully visible inside PB Vision (shot-by-shot breakdowns, six skill ratings, AI coaching insights, and more) so you can still use it to identify what to work on.

  • A PB Vision account (free to create) with at least one processed doubles game where you're tagged

  • A DUPR account, linked to PB Vision via the secure sign-in flow

  • A doubles game video that follows the framing guidelines

  • Currently doubles only (singles support is on our roadmap for both PB Vision ratings and the DUPR submission flow)

🔍 Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to play in a tournament to get a DUPR rating?

No. With this integration, a single recorded doubles game in PB Vision is enough to give an unrated player an initial AI-assisted DUPR rating.

Will my PB Vision submission update my existing DUPR rating?

Not today. Phase 1 is focused on giving unrated players an initial DUPR rating. If you already have a DUPR rating, submissions are captured by DUPR as informational data only and won't change your number.

Where will my rating show up in DUPR?

If you didn't previously have a DUPR rating, your new rating appears on your DUPR profile and is labeled as AI-assisted to indicate it came from a video-based submission rather than match results.

Does submitting a game also update my partner's or opponent's DUPR profile?

No. A submission only goes to your linked DUPR account. Each player who wants a DUPR rating from the same match needs to link their own DUPR account in PB Vision and submit the game themselves.

How do I change which DUPR account is linked?

Go to your PB Vision account settings, disconnect the existing DUPR connection, and connect the DUPR account you want to use instead.

Can I submit older PB Vision games?

Yes, as long as you're tagged in the game and the game is a processed doubles match.

Is there an extra cost?

No. The integration is included with your existing PB Vision and DUPR accounts. Standard PB Vision video minutes apply when you upload a game (your first video is free).
