  • Choose from starred shots / highlights (in Shot Explorer)

  • Can be sourced from any videos

  • Can crop for social media (e.g., vertical for tiktok)

  • Export to social media or download mp4

  • Auto reels for games from AI-detected highlights (currently longer rallies, ATPs, Ernes, poaches, firefights, etc.)

    We have just laid the groundwork for this to be enabled! Right now, you can export selected video segments (or all rallies with idle time removed) from the new video player— on iOS/iPhone only. We are working to bring these features to Android/web and we are also working on a feature to let users post vertical highlight reels (or any clips they want from a video) directly to TikTok or Instagram. More details coming soon (peep our newsletters, Discord, and new changelog for more insights as they come in)

    I would like something similar. I think the Rally #xx framework is already there.

    1) Add a “highlights” folder in the video library

    2a) Add to this folder from any rally (an option next to the rally number would make sense)

    2b) Add to this folder from any highlight auto-generated (using the kebob menu)

      Great idea. I think this is very doable. Would you consider a highlight always an entire rally, or would it be better to be able to select any segment of video for highlight?

        Thanks for bringing that up- it’s both really. Since you can already segment by shot (including +/- shots to refine length) then it would be cool to be able to save both specific “moments” and specific “rallies”. Then be able to select a variety of moments (or rallies) to be downloaded or shared as one highlight/demo video.

    I'd love to see:

    • the ability to download the selected (or all) highlights as clips to my camera roll. And ability to star/highlight any other clips the algorithm doesn't catch.

    • ability for PBV to "auto pan" - track the ball/player in the clip when the videos are cropped for vertical content.

    • ability to download fully trimmed games with scoreboard overlay. Thinking this would be great for longer form youtube content.

    @Ruby Kennedy Being able to compile <any shot types filtered for> is part of this feature. Note that we also have Shot Explorer which allows you to identify all those things by filtering. The only downside is that you can’t export them in an mp4 and/or directly to social media (though you can screen capture the resulting filtered clip)

    A highlights reel compiling all of a player’s <insert shot type here> would be useful. That way, I could look at all my 3rd shot drops, or dinks, or drives, or resets from transition zone, or serves, or returns, etc. in a concise video to spot habits, trends, common mistakes, etc.
